The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours is committed to widening access to watercolour painting and supporting creativity at all stages of learning and artistic development. As part of our charitable mission, we aim to advance public understanding and appreciation of water-based media through exhibitions, workshops, educational initiatives and opportunities for emerging artists.

Founded on principles of inclusivity, the RI continues to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with contemporary watercolour practice. Through collaborations with schools, artists and communities, we seek to encourage creativity, nurture talent and support the next generation of artists.
