Artist Statement
I work in watercolour on paper, painting the everyday and the sea. My subjects include still life, animals, figures and coastal scenes. I am drawn to ordinary moments and objects, using the delicacy and transparency of watercolour to create a sense of stillness.
Painting is a way of expressing what I cannot put into words. I prefer to leave space for viewers to encounter the work through their own observations and associations.
